mBit and the BC market at a glance
British Columbia already has a government online option in PlayNow, run by BCLC. mBit is not that - it's an offshore, Curaçao-licensed crypto casino that has operated since 2014 and accepts players from BC. So the decision for a BC player is between a provincially regulated site and an offshore crypto brand with no fiat at all. I could not verify a public Curaçao licence number for mBit, so I won't invent one.

You need crypto - there is no Interac path

The payoff for going crypto-only is that mBit charges no deposit or withdrawal fees on any supported coin, which is not something PlayNow's payment rails can match.

I won't paper over that gap: the wagering requirement is reported as 35x by AskGamblers and 40x by CryptoSlate. On a package this large that's a meaningful difference, so verify the live figure in the T&Cs before opting in.

Content comes from Betsoft, Evolution Gaming, Play'n GO, IGT, iSoftBet and Yggdrasil, with Betsoft being mBit's signature studio. The catalogue size is disputed - portals list roughly 1,000 titles while the operator claims 8,000+. Treat 8,000+ as marketing, not a verified count.
Withdrawals: the mixed picture
On the positive side, payouts are fee-free and many of the 483 Trustpilot reviewers (4.4/5 overall) report money landing within hours, sometimes minutes. I did not run a funded payout test from BC, so there's no tested time here. On the other side, Reddit, Bitcointalk and the AskGamblers forum carry recurring reports of delayed or withheld withdrawals, accounts closed after wins, and slow KYC.
