mBit vs Loto-Québec: the setup
Quebec's official online gambling site is Espacejeux, run by Loto-Québec. mBit is not part of that - it's an offshore crypto casino under a Curaçao licence that accepts Québec players. It has operated since 2014, one of the longest-running Bitcoin casinos anywhere. So a Québec player is choosing between the provincial platform and an unregulated offshore brand that deals only in crypto. We could not confirm a public Curaçao licence number, so none is quoted.
Offshore, crypto-only, accepts Quebecers, no deposit or withdrawal fees on seven coins. Not regulated by Loto-Québec - it sits in the grey market here, so provincial consumer protections don't apply.
Crypto only - no Interac, no CAD
Before anything else: mBit takes crypto and nothing else. There is no Interac e-Transfer and no card option that Espacejeux users would expect. You deposit and withdraw in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Tether (USDT) or Ripple (XRP). The trade is that mBit charges no deposit or withdrawal fees on any of them. New to crypto? Start with the Bitcoin deposit guide.
The welcome package for Québec players
Sign-ups get a welcome package of up to 4 BTC plus 325 free spins across the first three deposits, with a minimum qualifying deposit of 30 USDT or crypto equivalent. My honest steer: the 4 BTC figure is a ceiling, not an expectation - the 325 free spins are the usable part. The mechanics are on the welcome bonus page.
The wagering requirement needs flagging: it is 40x and clears on slots only, so live and table play won't touch it. On a bonus this large that is real playthrough, so confirm the current figure in the T&Cs before opting in.
Providers and library size
The game list draws on Betsoft, Evolution Gaming, Play'n GO, IGT, iSoftBet and Yggdrasil, with Betsoft the studio mBit is best known for. On how many games there actually are, sources split hard: portals list around 1,000 while the operator claims 8,000+. The portal count is the more reliable figure.

Payouts: fast for many, contested by some
Crypto withdrawals carry no fees, and a large share of Trustpilot reviewers report money arriving within hours, occasionally minutes. Payout times here are player-reported. The counter-signal is consistent enough to mention: Reddit, Bitcointalk and the AskGamblers forum carry recurring reports of delayed or withheld withdrawals, accounts closed after wins, and slow KYC. AskGamblers also cites limits around 3 BTC/week and 10 BTC/month - single-source and unconfirmed.
Pros
- Accepts Québec players; no-fee crypto deposits and withdrawals
- Running since 2014; Trustpilot 4.4/5, AskGamblers 7.5/10
- Signature Betsoft library plus Evolution, Play'n GO, IGT, iSoftBet and Yggdrasil
Cons
- Crypto-only - no Interac, cards or CAD
- Unregulated offshore in Quebec, outside Loto-Québec's framework
- Recurring withheld-withdrawal and slow-KYC complaints on Reddit and AskGamblers
